new panawals?

Craig,

I was wondering about your new Panawals. what material are the pins and the buttcaps made of? Also, I remember that the old ones were more roughly finished than your other models. Is that still true for these buffalo horn handled ones?

Chris: One of the reasons we made the move to the buffalo horn was exactly because we wanted a better fit and finish, and believed correctly that the change would help that out (which it has).

As for the buttcaps, we have both brass and steel. I seem to remember all the new ones coming in with steel. The pin are, I think, Aluminum.

Overall, I find the 18 inch Panawal to be a real winner - maximum blade for one hand (at least for my hand) that is still "usable" with one hand.
