New para 3

The BD1 steel choice is the same as the lightweight Manix2. I preferred a better steel in that Manix2 version, and was able to pick up a sprint lw Manix2 with a cts xhp blade. I think I ll wait for better steel in the lw PM3.

This is BD1N - an upgraded version compared to standard BD1.

We have discussed it, we are really excited about the Para 3 LW - nothing is definite yet however.

Jordan - you are the man Hopefully you guys will make it happen.

If rarely buy knives anymore, and originally was going to give this one a miss, but the BD1N steel has me interested. But us usual, I think I'll wait even after it's released to see what people's experiences are with it, and if here are any "bugs" that need to be worked out. The only knife I've ever not waited on was my Caribbean, and I have zero regrets about that.

With the Para 3, I also want to find out how the clip contacts the handle, and if it's rough going on and off the pocket material. Plus, I generally strongly dislike wire clips.

For me I like the bd1 steel. It holds a good edge,and when it needs sharpening pretty easy to sharpen and takes a good edge . Personally I'm not a big fan of the super steels. S35vn is the only one I think I would consider buying after having experience with some of them . Nothing wrong with them if you like them, but I do like the option of getting a para 3 or manix 2 at a cheaper price while still maintaining the look and feel also functionality of the original.
I am still debating over the manix 2 and the para 3.

No - if it is BD1 I will skip it for sure. Hopefully BD1N, which is whats said to be on lw Para 3, is noticeably better than BD1 or otherwise I will skip it as well.
