new paramilitary

I freaking LOVE it.......

Sal and co really hit this one out of the park. Looks just like a Millie Jr now.

Bravo guys, you did yourselves proud on this one, I think it will sell by the truck load.

Can't wait for the sprint runs!!! :)

I'd like to see it in person, but it looks decent compared to the old one. My only real "gripe" was the sharp corner, but since I dedicate a pocket to the knife it's not really an issue.

Looks like a mini-Millie. Thats ok I guess...but I think I like the original better.

I really liked the Super Leaf and the Sage 3.

just from looking at the picks, I think I like the original better...but I will have to get a para 2 to judge it properly:D that Sage 3 looks badass by the way

IMO Spyderco took a step forward with the millie, a step back with the para, and two steps forward with the paramilitary 2. The only thing I can see as a problem is that it might replace my millie. I love my millie TO DEATH but, better is better.

I don't think it's been announced yet, so it could be anytime. I'd think within a year or so, but who knows?

Personally, I think the Para is almost perfect as it is. Eliminating the hump is the only change I really think is worthwhile (and just barely so). I think the Millie clip is important since it ties the two models together. Then again, they're different knives, and I don't really see the need for a lengthened handle. Of course, a lot of people have bigger hands than I do.

Long live the compression lock!

I'm just in love. It's the minor details that add up to make it a better knife overall.

Pivot bushing>Pivot pillar

Big lanyard hole>Small lanyard hole(duh)

Four point clip>one point clip(math, it's a subject they had in school)

Smoother closed profile>Ugly tang that catches on pants and traps lint

Flat screw construction akin to the Manix>Tiny round screws

Better handle ergos>big flare at the butt end

Now I'm crossing my fingers for a good range of colors like:
Digicamo
Coyote Brown
OD Green (not foliage, jeez)
Orange

O Yes. Digicam!

There's nothing wrong with a "mini-millie."

The P-Mil II will be better than the Millie anyways due to the compression lock imo. I'll take a compression lock over a liner lock anyday. ;)

-------

EDIT: please make it in BLACK, COYOTE BROWN, and BATTLESHIP GREY. I'll buy all three.

Blasphemer! :thumbdn:

I'll stand by my statement that the P-Mil II with deep pocket, 4 way clip, and compression lock is better than the Millie(atleast until Millie II arrives;)).

This is almost worthy of a temporary profile picture change. ;)

Isn't the Paramilitary supposed to be like a smaller Military, isn't that the purpose? I don't understand all the people remarking on this.
