This thread is now closed. I am giving the forum members first look at the new pieces and then after a couple days they get moved to our webstore. If you would like to get any of these blocks, this link will take you to the appropriate section of the webstore so you can see what is still available.
These blocks were cut from a large Walnut stump burl. They were cut in between the areas where the burl had the eyes so they look kind of strange. You can't really call them curly Walnut or Walnut burl so I am just calling them unusual figured Walnut.
I think I should have done a "Nick Wheeler style" chatoyance video of these blocks to show what this wood is really like. The figure on #s B245 & B246 looks a lot like a Jeweled Metal surface.
The blocks were professionally stabilized by K&G so you know it was done right. There may be a few small open eyes that are barely noticeable. These blocks all come with a No Questions Asked, Money Back Guarantee.
When you decide which ones you want, just post "I'll take #s...." and I will mark them sold for you. If you would like a block cut into scales I can do that for you at no charge. Just let me know in your post. I normally cut scales to about 3/8" unless you ask for something else.
