It was cool to hear your voice, having dealt with you in e-mail previously. Sure didn't mean to take up an hour of your time. You called me. I'd have been happy to converse in e-mail. Sometimes e-mail is better, sometimes it's worse.
I was VERY tempted by your offer, but I made a point of NOT committing to anything. Even though I have an extended wait, this time I can be sure I'll be getting what I want.
Personally, I find it very difficult to buy knives by pictures and descriptions alone. To me, it's a very tactile experience. I need to know how they FEEL in my hand.
