I am surprised how much support S30V is seeing. Interesting that it is missed that much.

We always want what we can't have. :) Really. :) Cruise firearms boards. The moment something is discontinued or changed, it becomes instantly desirable. :)

I'm surprised to see "one piece" knives at 2nd place, and no one who speaks  for me this is the piece unforgettable, and I would love to bring it back....

Another vote for the Sebenza Regular. I much prefer it's blade shape and lock bar over the 21 (though that's not to say I do not like the 21 as I do).

It was not my vote (annuals) but if they brought them back I would buy another to go with my aviator!
The hard part was just choosing one.........

It 's true, you're right, too much choice
The Aviator is one of the pieces that I'm missing, unfortunately!

Well, the poll has produced some interesting information. Hopefully in some small way this can influence CRK to consider some re-releases, or at least the direction of their product line, but I kinda doubt it. It's a strong-willed company that follows its own path.

However, without a doubt they would sell some 'regulars' if they put them back out there. The unique blade shape and handle seems to have a lot of support.

The one piece knives had a sudden strong showing of support and are the 2nd most 'missed' item on the list.

S30v steel, and the much lamented BG42 seem to have an equal number of fans.

If you brought back the old Umnum pivot and jimping, people want it

Those elusive annuals are still in demand.

A 'regular' annual, in BG42 steel, with a discontinued wood inlay, would be the top product, but few of us could afford it :-)

Tough to choose among many excellent discontinued products. I voted Regular Sebenza (especially Large) since it's my favorite CRK. But I could easily have gone with the One Piece line -- fantastic knives.

I voted "Umnumzaan old jimping." Very hard list to choose from, as almost all I could have voted for.

The changes to the pivot AND jimping on the Umnumzaan (to me) were shocking. Throw in the gaudy over travel disc too. I understand why CRK made these changes, but I think they took away from the knifes identity.

I have to agree with lemmuhj!! I'm sure that Chris had his reasons for the changes... First the over travel disc.. then the jimping and the final change the "New Pivot" design.. of course it does make for a reason to collect all of the different variations.. hmmmm.
Yea, that's what I'll do!!:)

I've always found the Regular Sebenza to have an attractive blade shape. Unfortunately I've never owned one because they seem to be hard to find when I have the funds for one. Of course when I don't have funding half a dozen will pop up on the exchange :grumpy:

Damascus from days of yore! I miss the high contrast non-stainless damascus that use to be the norm. It now seems to be a limited production, higher premium item.

2nd place: I'd buy a Large Classic (2000) Inlay as well if they re-introduced them. I know the 21 is basically the same, but I'm nostalgic. Large Classic Carbon Steel River of Fire Damscus Boxelder Inlay for the win!!! ;)

This was a extremely tough one. I voted for the One Piece Knives because those are the knives that brought me to CRK. I had bought 15 of them before I tried the all mighty sebenza. I have since purchased more sebenzas than I have OPK because I can carry them more often and more places. For folders, I would LOVE to see the regular back in production. IMHO, the large regular sebenza ( in any blade steel ) is the greatest folder ever designed. Add CGG's like the Native American, Moon Song and others and they were breathtaking.

It would be interesting to re-run the poll in a new thread with multiple choice and see what happens. :)

Oh yeah, my two would easily be the One Piece Knives and the Regular Sebenzas. Though I do wish the annuals were still being made, I have 2 of em and am lucky to have that.
