I just posted this on our website. I thought it was worth a chuckle or two.

"If you are looking for something of much higher quality than a chinese or pakistan blade, but are not quite ready to place an order for your own custom (your company) knife, we are now offering such an item. After lots of scientific research stuff and extensive customer input we proudly introduce the “PS Mk1” (“pointy stick). Please note that our disclaimer also applies to this item.

I'm sorry to have to tell you, but the patent rights are help in perpetuity by Ugg the cave man. He invented it and fiercely defends his patent. His method is not a court suit, but a battle to the death. I would re-design it to make it different from his just to be on the safe side.

I would suggest you work on the fit and finish of the blade. The handle looks a bit "rough in the hand", too. Otherwise it looks like a good user.

It looks to be only 3/4in. thick. How can I cut through the hull of a submarine in an emergency with something so thin?

I'll take two, one in a lower RC hardness for general cave work, and I have a question for the second, what type of wood will give me the best performing PS Mk1?

How can it be tactical? It isn't black? Rattle can that bad boy and you won't be able to make enough of them! lol

I'll wait for the PS Mk 2, just incase there's problems with the Mk1. I want to be sure that there is no chance of expansion or dry rot before I take my tools into the sticks.

I think it would look better if there was a curve from handle to tip. Curves look better. Functionally, I think it speaks to the quote "The pointy end goes in the other guy" and is a completely functional design.

I will guarantee I could get a group of guys together that would buy it if you painted it black, put velcro on it, and gave it MOLLE compatibility.

Someone posted a picture of a rock on our bulletin board one time with a caption referring to the world's best researched and endorsed multi-function window breaker and less lethal/impact weapon...

Is it endorsed by Navy Seals/Delta Force/Rangers/Boy Scouts/etc? It can't be tactical otherwise. What is the hardness of the wood? Does it come in a left hand version? How about a warranty? I think I'll wait for a bit. In the meantime, I will continue to defend myself with a variety of fresh fruit. Beats a pointed stick any day. ;)

Watch it John, you know the rules about buying and selling in Shop Talk. Don't make me ding you.
