These Nav Cards are a new dealer product for us although we have not released them yet to the dealer network. They are fairly unique since you get instruction cards and all the basic map scales in the pack of 5 plastic cards. They are made to carry with your Map, GPS/Compass as quick reference cards and map measuring tools.

Anyway, we will let the mods come up with however they want to give these away but we would like to give away about 10 sets to the members here to get them out in the market and let people start seeing the quality and usefulness of the product. So, from this point I will leave it to the mods....

I downloaded the catalog the other day and saw them in there but missed that it was a set, not individual cards.
 
You should give some to me.
Then I can look like I know what I'm doing as I lead my friends to being utterly lost in the woods.;):D
 
I have no idea how one would use those things. Looks like I need to study navigation skills.
 
Hell yeah, I'd be in if there was a contest for one. I'd throw it in the pocket of my hat with a plotter.
 
Jeff, thanks a lot. I took my son out just last week-end to to a local wetlands to start him on the basics of navigation with a compass & topo, & the first words out of his mouth were, "Dad, I've got a GPS, why do I need these?" . . . I ask him if the satellites were down, what would the GPS be good for?? After about 20 seconds, he picked up the compass & map & said, "OK, what was that declination something or another??" . . . :)
A bigger smile has not appeared on a father in the history of time. Thanks for always thinking of us ESEE guys to better ourselves, & for a great teaching guide to help the new guys.
