All,

We realize we are running behind on some new product. Shon Rowen and I spent about an hour on the phone today and he has some great ideas on production scheduling changes that will help us meet the rising demands of the customer at a quicker pace.

In a nutshell, we did not anticipate the growth that RAT Cutlery has seen in the last few months (thanks mostly to you guys and federal law enforcement). Don't get me wrong...we're not complaining but we did not figure enough ahead when it comes to production so things have gotten a little behind. We're playing catch-up right now but we will get there. Rowen manufacturing is simply an amazing company to work with. When issue like this arise they meet them head on and march forward and always willing to squeeze more time out of a 24 hour day. To be honest with you I don't know how they do it. If any of you have ever read Atlas Shrugged then Shon Rowen is the modern day Hank Rearden, and Mike and I feel like we're trying to build the John Galt railroad line. :D

Both Rowen Manufacturing and ourselves (Mike and I) take full responsibility for the delays. We just didn't anticipate some of the large law enforcement orders that we have received.

One other note since some of you have asked about new product: after we get the RC-6, RC-5 SERE, TAK and Neck knives to market then we're not going to pursue any new product until we get the pipeline stocked with existing product.

Again, these issues are things that most companies never tell their customer base. You guys (all of you) have been damn good to RAT Cutlery and we feel we owe you an explanation on how are business is running.

if anyone has an issue with a delay or with their product don't hesitate to give us call. My cell # is 256-527-2808

Thanks for the update and its GREAT to know that you guys are doing so well.

Just remember its always to be better to be behind because you simply can't meet the high demand, than to have nothing. It simply means you're doing things right and keep up the good work. I can't wait to get my hands on a RC4

Wow, you guys rock!
I have never dealt with a company as great as yours.
Putting your own number here for anyone to call and ask questions is a phenomenon I have never experianced.

Sounds like the best kind of problems too have.

Hey, are you going to make any RC's out of that new "Rowen metal":D

Excellent to hear that things are going well for RAT Cutlery and friends :D

Keep up the good work!

Jeff, thanks for the update. The reason we ask about these things is because we care and are excited about your products.

That is why RC is the best..... I don't think Ontario's owner would give out his cell number and explain things like you did if they were having issues. I understand and support RC 110 percent. I am just glad that things are going so well.

Glad we could help out!! Thanks for caring and making high quality products affordable! It will take me a while to catch up with purchasing the up coming products so please take your time!! :D

The only bummer...sounds like a long wait for the RTAK...I was really hoping they would be out sooner, rather than later.

Glad to hear you guys are doing well (Onatrio must be pissed! :D). As usual, the way you guys handle business never ceases to surprise me.

Your honesty and openess are just two of many reasons I am proud to carry and recommend your products. Take your time we aren't going anywhere.

Amazing....Just Amazing!

If there is anything I CAN handle, its honesty. The fact that you guys are backed up is great news to me! Its means RAT is doing well, will grow, make cool new stuff for me to "fib" to the wife about buying....."No No baby, I've had those 5 knives".....or, "Damn, whats UPS doing here AGAIN??" It means two down to earth guys with a great product built right here in the US of A are becoming a success... and above all, I helped.

So.. GRATZ Jeff & Mike, thanks for all ya do... dont sweat the backup. We are all here and like it or not...*bitch... grumble...mumble* will be patient.

NOW WHERE THE HELL IS MY RC-6???????????????? :D *just kiddin*

Jeff, Mike, all the others at R.A.T., take your time. The last thing all of us want to do is rush you guys. I didn't question God as to why it took him 6 days instead of 4. I'm just glad he got it done right.

...although, I don't think his customer service is quite as good as yours when it comes to repairs and replacements. hahaha

I think we'll find out his customer service is pretty unbeatable when its all said and done; He just doesn't operate on the same timetable as we do:)

As has been said, being backed up means being very busy, which is great news! News of how great the RC line is seems to be spreading like wildfire.

I think you're right. I just like to tease the big guy. Anyone who came up with jock itch has a sense of humor.
