As Sal likes to say, "When they're ready."I recall Spyderco doesn’t really do ETAs but any rumblings on the 15v Natives, when they might hit?
I was trying to remember what the Edgerati reminded me of and I finally figured it out.

It's the LionSteel TiDust which IMO is the epitome of skeletonized folder handle design made by means of a unique technique called Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) by which powdered Ti is layered in a 3D pattern using a laser.
See: https://industrialmetalservice.com/metal-university/what-is-direct-metal-laser-sintering/
The Ti Dust has long been discontinued but I actually found one still offered for sale for $1914 US plus shipping by a dealer in Switzerland.
Way beyond my price rang for knives but I wonder how much Spyderco is going to be asking for the Edgerati.![]()

Wasn't suggesting that the Edgerati would be priced anything like the Ti Dust, which originally retailed for $1300.I sawa video with Eric explaining that the Edgerati has a handle made of aluminium, so I doubt it'll be anywhere near the 1900$ mark ^^
That's a beautiful Sage you got there, I just had mine out, these are truly astonishing knivesView attachment 2775557View attachment 2775558View attachment 2775559View attachment 2775560View attachment 2775561View attachment 2775562View attachment 2775563Took apart the Sage 5 to add the AWT scales today. Interesting that the blade uses a collar riding on a smaller pivot barrel. All the body screws (except longer clip screw) are the same size as the pivot fasteners. The Taichung detent ball ramp is different than the golden compression lock faces, It’s more of a small bevel the entire length of the face. The Sage 5 also uses an internal stop pin which is probably why AWT couldn’t make a liner delete for this model. Overall a great piece and tip top construction we’ve come to expect from the Taichung factory.
There's a live auction on eBay with a bid for $255 right now...GP knives has a Rex 76 PM2 for $200(ish).
Advantage of Rex 76 to 45 is same high hardness, but more carbide volume. What will I be missing this time? What's the attraction of REX-76? I have a PM3 in REX-45 and I don't even know what to compare it with. Maybe something between M4 and K390?
