New project: establishing a WTB database.

I am hoping to close on a three way trade communicated completely by email.
I may get just the OD I've been looking for without ever posting in WTB.
Regardless of how it is done, this group of Hogs appearsto be a brotherhood of sorts.

Laugh out Loud,

WalkingMan,

Sounds like what you want to do is to Document the emails I have received from Busse Enthusiasts for the last six years.

Along with "Could you send me a list of the knives you currently have and what you might be willing to sell?

Good idea from a sellers point of view though, nice to have a ready list of folks looking for particular knives.

And it lets Sneaky Porker types know what they might try to pick up to use as trades for what they are looking for.(used to be a favorite passtime of mine) ;)

Stand back everyone. We are in the presents of a true Infi "Playah" :D

Don't hate the Playah, hate the game.

Wanting a little "Leverage" is not all together a "Bad" thing. :o

I have facilitated filling a slot in a collection or two in my time,,,if only my own. :D

I can agree with that!

:D

Basically it comes to this.....
It will be almost like the want ads of your paper. I will not accept responsibility for misprints or deletions or who buys and sells to who. I cannot..... If you miss out, and it was in the Busse WTB post, then how can I possibly take responsibility, I'm not God!
I will, write a little snippet at the top asking anyone who looks at this to honor our desires, as most of these pieces have been desired for some time.

I hope I didn't come across as being sarcastic in my earlier post.

I learned something from the Idea and for that I thank you.

Silas,

Relax, I am no Longer a major player in the Big Busse Sweetstakes Game.

I do have more than a few Busse knives, and I do still like to Dabble a bit.

I do get more than a few emails about the subject, and have been known to answer a question or two and to give a little advice.

Sarcasm is an art form on the Busse knife forum, graded, not reported or fussed about.

Not easy to upset me here.

I remember when anyone that had six or more Busse knives was a real big deal.

Walking man,

It was back when you paid up front before the knives were even made.

Back when if you wanted INFI on non-Battle Mistress's,,

You ordered them special.

My first order was full retail, for 10 knives, paid up front the first week of 1999.

Delivery of about half the order came in October 1999.(Oct 17th a day that will live on in infamy)

I drove from SoCal to Las Vegas a couple weeks later to get the rest.(And to meet Jerry and Dave)

Folks, you got it easy now-a-days

Back when Varients were made from mistakes, and were some times cheaper than a standard knife.

Back when you had to be "Dedicated" to be willing to wait for a Brand New Busse knife.

Good times, Good times :p
