Here's a trail knife order I'm finishing up. It's going out with some PSK knives in a piggyback.
Everything is a tad bit dirty in the photos. The wood is only down to 220 grit, and not oiled. About what the walnut convex EDC looked like at this stage.
With the exposed tang rear I had to do some chopping (you can see a few marks on the blade from that where the 400/600 grit scratch pattern got wiped). Once I put a bit of radius on all the rear tang edges it becamse very comfortable in a rea chopping grip, and fits the handle very sell up forward, too.
I'm okay with the penetration in throwing. i wasn't really whaling since the handles are one, but I got a consistent 1.75 inches into dried maple logs. I'll call it a decent tip, goes in and doesn't snap
