New PS Model from CRK

Looks great -- but isn't it a wee bit short of the large Sebbie? Interesting. My large locks up so beautifully and is so durable that I don't know whether I can justify this one, as opposed to a small Sebbie. Not that I don't just NEED one...

eh..not for me personally although I'm sure its an outstanding knife.

I'll get excited when I see the Crocodile..

Funny thing is that these harp shackles, when used for lifting, tighten theirself.
A crane operator will tel you not to tighten them any more then a loose handtight or they will be a bitch to undo again.
It's different for other purposes off course.

Pretty little FB, Btw.

I hope when Fooj returns, he can tell us how this blade feels.

The PS was extremely well received at the SHOT show. Bill and Chris designed this knife specifically for and at the request of Special Forces soldiers. These soldiers had a huge amount of input into the design parameters, and as such, it is quite tuned to their needs. Even so, many non-military visitors to the CRK booth were quite impressed with look and feel of the knife, and left with the desire to have one when they become available.

As for me, I love it. It's very comfortable, light, extremely well engineered -- I'm looking forward to having one in my pack on every outing.

Thanks a bunch for all the info, has a release date been determined yet?

It's one of those must have knives!:D

Buy a bunch of shackles , then you'll have an excuse to buy a knife/shackle key !!

Although a prototype sheath was shown at the show, the final version is still being worked on. I'd anticipate early product availability sometime late spring / early summer.

Any update on when the PS will be on the Market?

I have Emailed CR and they didn't return with an answer.
