So I have been spending way to much time on the knife exchange fueling and feeding my eki addiction, So I recently traded my mini cqc15 to a member for several reasons however its going to be missed. Well I decided to replace it down the road I was going to buy a CQC-15 in standard size. Well found one! Man my addiction knows no limits I guess.

I decided to pick it up after telling myself no more, I even held off on another grail the PDW specwar.

I have never owned a Nath custom, So we shall see how it goes when I get it ... Ill post pics but there are alot in the exchange thread I am sure most of you have seen, and a video.

Well I do love stock EKI's however I also love the custom invovations from such as Rayster357, Josh at REK, and Nath... Seems the few others are not doing much right now.

I guess I now have my standard size cqc-15 ....

So i guess who else has total eki addiction stories, I know most do ..lol

Yeah no kidding! I have no remedy then, but that's ok; my wallet cries all the time though:(

Thank you. Didnt realize that was the trade thread.
I love checking that thing out.

I hear that ! My wallet is disgusted with me.

My first wallet, I mean, wife divorced me, a bottomless pit; so good thing the current one doesn't reply.

Is it wrong to get blades shipped to my work to keep them a secret

As long as it is an Emerson it's ok. :)

My addiction started with a Benchmade Loco honestly. It was my first "high end" knife as I was getting Walmart knives. After handling the Benchmade I realized why knives were expensive and can feel the weight and smooth cutting ability. I never realized how much I used. Knife just for general work purposes so I did more research on other knives.

I picked up a copy of Recoil magazine to see what other knives are available and it was the issue with the interview with Ernest Emerson. I really liked his story and his history behind military knives. I looked up his knives and saw YouTube videos on the wave feature. I thought it was cool and wanted a large knife; I figured I was going to spend a large amount of money k would get a large blade. So my first knife was a Super CQC 8 and when I got it I was genuinely impressed with everything about it and I tried the wave feature. I didn't know what would happen or how exactly to deploy it smoothly. I ended up holding the knife wrong and it nicked me while opening. Then the next time I held it too lightly and the G10 was so grippy on my pants that when I pulled it hard it flew out of my hands. Once I got it down I never realized I "needed" the wave feature. I have had flippers and thumb studs but it is so awesome and efficient to have your knife deploy right out of your pocket.

I figured I wanted another one so I was looking at the forums and see UBR Commander. I never knew what this knife was about. Did the research and it's a 4.5" blade and my Super 8 is a 4.3" blade. I figured it's just a little bigger than mine so I struck a deal on it and was just waiting not really knowing what to expect except it's going to be a long blade and it looks like a nice design. I get my shipment super fast and I open up the packaging and get to the box and feel at its a little heavier than my other one, "oh well." I open this sucker up and I see this behemoth of knife handle and think "Damn this is big" and I open the blade and say "holy F&$^!!!, what a knife". I just see how awesome the grinds are and how big the knife is and how super sharp that it cut through everything it touches. From then on I have been in search for another one and other emersons caught my eye and kept acquiring and been loving each one as they come in. luckily and hopefully this UBR run from Emerson will happen so I can get another one, lol
