I have a few very high end customs and they dont hold a match to this Nath custom. Very smooth operation, lock up very solid no stick. The quality is amazing! Home run for sure....Looks insane pics do no justice to this knife. Came with a cool little pouch, the seller was great to deal with and IMHO under sold it. I am very lucky to have this considering the customizer is book for a year +. I honestly dont know what to say about it that would really describe it well. One sad thing is I dont know if I will carry it much maybe just to show off.

I saw that 15, certainly looked nice, congrats. I was considering getting a 15 from The Emerson Christmas sale but I have the itch for a Super Commander, can't wait for that one to get here .

My first "Emerson" was a Benchmade 970 CQC-7 I bought in about '92 maybe...?? '93....around in there. It quickly became my favorite knife and I had some decent ones at the time.

Several years later I lost it in the Sierra mountains.

So I've been owning Mr. Emerson's knives ever since. He went on his own shortly after that and I've followed his stuff since. I have the Super 7 now and my latest EKI prize is a micro-Commander that I'm going to comment about below.

.....and see UBR Commander. I never knew what this knife was about. Did the research and it's a 4.5" blade and my Super 8 is a 4.3" blade. I figured it's just a little bigger than mine so I struck a deal on it and was just waiting not really knowing what to expect except it's going to be a long blade and it looks like a nice design. I get my shipment super fast and I open up the packaging and get to the box and feel at its a little heavier than my other one, "oh well." I open this sucker up and I see this behemoth of knife handle and think "Damn this is big" and I open the blade and say "holy F&$^!!!, what a knife". I just see how awesome the grinds are and how big the knife is and how super sharp that it cut through everything it touches......

The Commander blade is massive, let's face it. Even at its standard size.

I mentioned a few times that I have a micro--Commander that I "un-retired" several months ago to carry again. Even scaled down to the micro level, the Commander blade remains deceivingly large at 2.9"; it looks and works like about a 3.25". By far my favorite small-folder EDC.

I love almost everything about the micro com, however the opening for thumb deployment is just to small for me to feel comfortable. I might just have huge thumbs..lol i totally dig the traveler that is same size overall but very big thumb hole that make deployment a pleasure.
