New RC-3, maybe, maybe not...

I ordered one from knifesupply.com last wensday the 18th, since the we received your order email I have not heard one word from them. I sent a couple emails asking for an update, called the number on the website a couple of times and get voice mail is full. Anyone had problems with them? I want my knife! I want them to tell me something, anything.
 
Knife Supply are good people. Not sure why they haven't returned your call but I'm pretty sure you won't be scammed ;)
 
I have bought from Knife Supply in the past and they have come through and relatively quickly. They may not have your knife in stock and are waiting to get it, but they should communicate that to you and not leave you hanging. I bet you will hear something soon. Its a good sign they didn't charge your card.
 
yeah, it is a good sign. But when you place an order, it would be nice to know the status of it. Or at least a response from them.
 
A response would be nice, I was able to leave a voice message last night. I am going to try calling one more time this afternoon and if I get no answer I will to try to cancel and buy from one of the above suggestions.

I was going to ask the same thing, my TWO RATS ARE NOT ENOUGH thread was after ordering from Knife Supply. I sent an email yesterday for confirmation and today as well with no reply. I could not even leave a message on their machine.
Any contact would alleviate my worries, do they want my money or not?

YES! HOUSTON WE HAVE CONTACT! Just got an email from Shawn in their customer service and the mora is not in stock till friday, they will then ship all together. Glad they got back to me, I am now in a better mood.

I was about to order an DT RC-4 yesterday from them based on their prices. Instead I ordered from Chestnut Ridge Knives based on great service on a DT RC-3 purchased last week. I placed the order online and received shipping confirmation by the end of the day.

I'm not knocking anyone, just reporting great customer service from one of the vendors.

I guess one thing to keep in mind is that not all internet stores are big operations. Some are mom-and-pops with limited automation.
 
I just got an email from them, it is being shipped today. All is well. Brad, I am in a better mood also.
