This is a new recurve design of mine and it has a lot of recurve too. Blade is CPM 154 CM with satin scothbrite finish 4.5" long with some file work on the thumbrest for traction. Handles are black G-10 taken to 1000 grit by hand 4.25" long. I can honestly say this is my best work so far. This was a a bear to grind. I thought back and forth over putting a mirror finish on it but I just love the crisp lines so much that I could't. I've just got to get the sheath made. Hope ya'll like it.

Fantastic ! Beautiful recurve on that baby.
Swedge looks perfect.

That is an excellent recurve blade- I especially like the large belly. I also agree with you on the finish- this one is perfect as it is!

Barker,

What Rockwell were you able to get on the blade? Beautiful work! You just need to get the same quality in the sheath!

VERY nice. I really like that beer belly it has. I just got into shooting bows, have 2 recurves, reminds me alot of them. I like the finish on the blade also.

I like this one very much, it has detail everywhere. Nice touch on the thumb rest. That recurve is killer! I enjoy a nice belt finish like this one has.

I agree, I prefer a belt or scotchbrite-style finish. To me, high polish just seems strange on a knife.
Nice Job!

man.....your after my own heart!! I love it. Dont change a thing :)
