-Mizzou Castable Refractory-

Hi everybody, we've been asked often if we could carry Mizzou castable refractory in smaller quantities for those who want to pour their own castable floors in horizontal and vertical forges. The problem with full bags of Mizzou has been the large shipping cost associated with shipping a 55 pound bag of the stuff! Well, with the new USPS Flat Rate boxes, this problem is no longer an issue! We are now carrying Mizzou in 30 pound quantities for $30, and these can be shipped anywhere in the US for $7.70.

-Empire S Hard Firebricks-

We're also now carrying Empire S hard firebricks in 9" x 4.5" x 2.5" thick size. These things weigh in at 7.5 pounds each and we can fit three in the USPS Flat Rate box for shipping at $7.70. These are High Duty, Dry Press Fireclay bricks with a temperature rating of 3123 degrees F.

-Soft Insulating Firebricks-

Also, using the USPS Flat Rate boxes, we can ship two 9" x 4.5" x 3" thick Soft Insulating Firebricks or three of the 9" x 4.5" x 2.5" Soft Insulating Firebricks anywhere in the US.

-Satanite-

Finally, using the USPS Flat Rate box, we can ship up to 25 pounds of Satanite for $7.70 too!

We're always looking for ways to expand our offerings to include the things you need, and hopefully these new shipping options will open up some new possibilities and save you a few bucks in the process! :)

Since Spring is quickly approaching, and hence, time for hammer-ins, keep in mind that if you need large quantities of refractory materials (full bags of Mizzou and Satanite, or full rolls of Inswool) we're happy to deliver your order to a hammer-in that we're attending if you pre-order and specify that you want us to bring it with us instead of shipping it. This year we plan to attend Harley's Hammer-in (Holsten Mountain Hammer-in), the Batson Bladesmithing Symposium, Ron Claiborne's Hammer-in, and we also have a table at the Blade Show this year! There might be another one or two that we make it to, but at the moment, those four are definite. We look forward to seeing everyone at the hammer-ins and shows again this year!

:)
