Rapid River has a "tactical" line comming out soon. While I don't care for the term tactical, I like the design and the idea of it comming without scales/wrap.

Those would probably be a nice general purpose field knives, If they added some handle slabs and got rid of that ugly black coating.

I'll add some pics of my "must have"

That is my intention as soon as I get my hands on one. Strip the coating from the A2 steel and add some slabs. Still havent decided on what slabs though. CF? or Green Micarta?

From the world of slipjoint pocket knives - Queen has come out with a new collabration with Dan Burke. I have one ordered. Schatt and Morgan is about to release a new ATS-34 toothpick which I will order.

Are you by any chance talking about the "Rancher"? If so, that's my next knife, without a doubt.

I'm pretty neutral here, but if they show up here I would want to touch/fondle first. Spydie Caly 3 would be very high on my list of future acquisitions. Already have Cento 4, and 4 Delica 4's and just acquired an Endura 4 yesterday:D I WAS looking at a Mini Manix, and it was a gorgeous piece, but it was still a beast and I just couldn't justify it in my mind. May ultimately get it, but again we'll see. I do like collecting, but the initial intent is to be able to use it for a bit before tracking down the next one. I have enough of the larger type folders - I know and have already used my E4.

I just got this Typhoid xl in a trade and the knife is just a few months old. It should be here Tuesday or Wed. Oh the agony of the wait!:D

This beast is a huge 11inches. Made from 1/4 inch D2 and I got a trainer with it:thumbup: .

ZDP189 Delica,
ZDP189 Chinese,
Micro Dyad with VG10 & Jigged Bone,
Caly 3 - both versions - the Carbon Fiber (ZDP189?)& the G10 (VG10?)

The kiids don't "really" need to go to college.;)

Longbeachguy, the new Queen Dan Burke Rancher is a fine knife. It is now my pocket knife for most of the time.

Hey bro is this a fantasy knife? it look wicked, like something off a Megadeth album cover ;-) would one wrap the handel in 550 para cord say in USMC desert tan?

AHHHHHHH dave terrels work. The sickness industries good stuff. He makes great knives.

ZT 400

And y has no one yet mentioned scrapyard knives. I mean jesus the wait is almost more than i can bear.

The Spyderco Pikal (or as Spyderco calls it, P'kal). I'm a Pikal study so ready for that one.

I've also always liked the Kershaw Blur but not a big fan of 440A except for a "work" knife. I bought one but never carried it. It came out recently in S30V and grey accents on the handle so picked on up. A beautiful, very strong knife with a grip like glue that opens faster then an auto, in my opinion. Very nice knife.
