New Rescue/ Survival Blade !!!

Walmart did have the fiskars brush hooks on the clearance rack for $15 but that was a while back(4 weeks) I like the fiskars better because the orange on the handle makes it easier to see on the ground. all though the hatchet is better chopper I use the brush hook a lot more trimming weeds. bushes. limbs, roses:D etc...

Looks Cool Pit, but I bet it chops no better than your Mora...:D
Seriously, I have owned quite a few MMHW and honestly..I believe Ted Frizzle is making tough knives that dont work!.....The shape and design is cool, the material is top notch...the edge and grind is AWFUL..actually to the point that it will not chop as well as a knife half its size and weight.
I have 2 MMHW right now..one I bought because it was basically a machete on steroids..(flat grind:thumbup:) and the other I bought because it had potential. It is the knife in the middle of this photo, and I had to do some serious work to the grind, it is basically a flat grind now, and a few degrees better than from MMHW. I stripped the finish and steeled the edge.
It is my Best chopper now. Heavy and Sharp!

Cold Steel makes a brush hog also, it's a heavy machete blade on a 2 handed handle. I believe they run around $25.

Don't know if I'd carry that beast, but it looks cool as hell! And MMHW makes awesome gear at pretty reasonable prices too.
