New Riddick poster, knife prominently displayed.

The design of Riddick's blade isn't Furyan - it's Necromonger.

Necromonger weapons aren't designed for utility - their main tactic is to blitz enemy forces and strongholds with waves of soldiers, until the opposing army is destroyed or surrenders.

They don't care about losing soldiers, nor do Necromonger soldiers feel pain or fear.

Their weapons have no need to be used as tools, as the Legion Vast is only ever used to overwhelm a planet with numbers, until victory.

So Necromonger knives have no design for utility as isn't meant to be used in that fashion - only combat.

The blade itself has features reminiscent to that of some push-daggers, so it's obviously combat-oriented.

I wont talk smack, I liked the Riddick movies. Ill definitely support his next one.

Riddick uses what tool he finds, be it the sharpened metal scrap, a tea cup, or the necro bling dagger.

Sounds like the old Soviet play book. Throw enough men & tanks at em until they run out of ammo and then you have won the Battle!

Just look at his handle/user name, it's a Dune reference, this goes way deeper than necroposting about necromancers.
