Hello,
I just obtained a new knife and it made enough of an impression on me that I felt some comments were appropriate.
Rockstead Kou- I had a Rockstead Chou (small neck knife), but had gifted it to my brother. I wanted to experience a Rockstead folder, ZDP-189 steel, convex grind, etc..
I have a few very nice knives, handmade by some well known knife makers and the knives are, in my opinion, VERY well done and they perform great.
I received the Kou and I was amazed. To my eyes, it is literally flawless. I couldn't find anything "wrong" with the knife (blade finish, edge, grinds, handle finish, lock-up, etc...). It remains to be seen whether it will be a good carry/user knife. But, I've never purchased anything... gun, knife, watch, car, etc... that was flawless (to my eyes).
Regards, Adam
