New Rookie - Soon?

I have two of the original ones (plainedge) and am looking forward to getting one of the new new ones. It was a knife I really didn't like when I first got it then grew to really appreciate it. I used to switch back and forth between my Rookie and an AFCK (original version with spyder hole). They were my two favorites knives. Any word on when and what steel and handle material?
