Because I tend to always follow the same trail in my local park I tend to forget that there are lots more longer ones.....today I tried a different one !
Came across these old stone steps, they must have led to an old cabin or something years ago !
Nice big pond on the trail......
I'd taken my Ka-Bar Impact with me today, I never see anyone with these on the forum but they are a great knife,the D2 steel keeps a great edge and the edge geometery makes it a great cutter !
It also battons pretty good as I proved with this Fatwood I found......
Check out the rich colour of that Fatwood goodness !
Some of the trees on the trail are huge, I put my knife in the pic for scale....
Came across this which would make a great natural shelter, filled with leaf debris you would be pretty cosy......
I couldn't capture it well in the pics but it was huge inside, Maisy is inside walking around !!!!
