I want some:D
SR101 too:thumbup:

I will be buying two, I am in love with this little thing.

Any idea what colors it will be coming in I will be getting the non coated one for myself but the wife may want something "different".

I does look awefully similar to the ESEE Izula which is a spectacular design... :foot:

The satin and pry thingie are definite pluses over the Izzie.

Maybe the Izula scales w a little bit of modding can be made to fit...

Plasti-dip or bike tire would be good for grippiness. My fear, still, with a blade this thin is it won't have a lot of hand comfort. I hate cord-wrapping. Hate it. Would rather have a slightly thicker blade. As thick as the Spartan Enyo would be ideal. Just for bare blade hand comfort.

Either way, that video makes me want it more. Curse you Busse Family!

Hi Dave, glad to find you in this thread.

I have some concerns regarding a kydex sheath for this puppy.
I have posted this in another thread, but didn't get a response there:

There is no thicker part closer to the handle that kydex would be holding. If you look at Izula or Swamp warden for example, there is a thick finger guard that is easy to use to hold the blade in the sheath. In case of SCRAPIVORE there is no such thing.

I'm not a kydex guru and I might be wrong, but the way I see it, the only way to secure the knife in the kydex would be using handle hole as an "anchor". This would mean that as soon as you wrap the handle, kydex would have to be reheated and readjusted.
The other way would be wrapping the handle first and then building the kydex that holds on to the wrap. That would mean that kydex will need to be custom fit to the wrap.
The only other way I see is using pure friction of the blade and handle with no "snap closure". That would mean that kydex will be scratching the blade and there will be no secure lockup.

I'd love to hear some opinions and ideas of kydex makers.

I'm not saying that design is bad. I love it. I have a knife like this with no choil. It is an awesome user.

I would love to hear what you think about it.

What's all this Pavlovian slobbering goin' on over this latest tidbit tossed into the dogfood bowl by the Big Dog? ;) :D

An alternative to Randucci's bike tire handle wrap, albeit not as cheap, is electrical shrink-wrap. It's especially nice over a cord wrap by adding some more traction.

Are you referring to the sheath? If so, sheaths (kydex) in that size are usually in the $30-35 range...

I got em' for my S.Wardens for $25 each shipped.... But, what's a role of Duck Tape running these days? $5-7?
Or get a couple scraps of wood and make yourself one of these for the little beastie. :)
