New sebenza owner-need some advice!

Some people may bash me and call me crazy but to help me get over it.. Well I threw it at a tree. From then on the snail trails started to show and I like it even more than brand new. When I threw it my brother did a double take to make sure it was the sebenza I threw and then looked like he wanted to cry or have a heartattack lol

Yep, too bad one can't make a living punching holes in car windshields- the Hinderer would be the perfect tool!

I've been known to smack a knife that I plan to carry on a rock to get that first scratch out of the way.

It was basically out of impulse.. up until that point I carried a "beater" and would only use the benza on light duties. After that I actually started using it and decided that I liked it so well I solo carry it now.

I don't think I would go for hitting it on a rock per se lol only because I wouldn't want a dent or a rather large snail trail I refer to as snail poop on it. I do have a circular area about the size of a pea on my handle that is sometimes an eye sore but I'm going to wait another couple years before I send it in for a spa.

Don't get me wrong, I don't put a big mark on the knife, just enough that I can see the scratch. Just a light tap, and in a place I don't mind. IOW, I don't scratch the presentation side of a UG intentionally.
 
I used both my sebs from the get go. For literally everything. I say, put it in your pocket and use it. You will really appreciate it more that way.
