Yes.... the new clip will be available to purchase for all existing Sebenzas.
The cost is the same as before - $10.00.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark, thanks for the info. I just called and ordered two clips.

Mark I noticed the sebenza with the new clip does not have a cutout under the clip. Will new sebenzas no longer have the cutout? New clip looks great BTW.

Mark, excellent! Thank you for the update. I actually have a couple of things I'd like to send in for refurbishing, and I'll be crazy not to add a couple of pocket clips to the order.

CRK, I have just one question. My 2000 wood inlay should be arriving in a month or so. Will it have the new clip?

Just received my 2000 wood inlay yesterday afternoon and unfortunately it has the old style clip. It was created on June 7th so I guess I just missed out. Oh well. Guess that's a good reason to get another Sebenza!
By the way, the redwood burl looks better and better every time I pick it up to admire it, which is alot.

Johnny; that is a very good question. Both my Sebenzas have the cut out under the clip. If the new clip is designed to work with a scale without a cut out, the knife may be loose when clipped to the pocket when retrofitted to an existing knife. Hopefully Mark will be able to address this.

Joe

I hope they discontinue the cutout under the clip, the knife is a little sleeker with the clip removed the old way.

But I won't mind adding some of the new style clips to my growing pile of titanium bits

I'm glad to see the FAQ updated, and the illustration of the fob knot is a great addition to the website.

Are new Sebenzas that have the new clip absent the relief under thge clip? I understood that the only change to new models was the clip itself. If the slab is also madified with the latest variant doies that mean that we now have an old, new, newnew, classic and new newnew?

Got my new style clip for my small plain Seb. Really nice! makes it easier to get the knife out of the pocket. Talked to Bridget the other day and some knives will have the cutout under the clip with the new clip. She said knives with the cutout will have no problem with the new clip. Hope she's right, my wood inlay and CGG trailing moon will have the cutout and the new clip. I'm not worried, if anything goes wrong, Chris will make it right.
