I noticed on a large Sebbie 21 (born in 01/2010) that the washers are perforated. That's neat, I guess the lube will last longer. Any ideea when CRK started to put perforated washers on the Sebenza?
It all started with the Umnumzaan.
It worked out so well that they are now ordering perforated washers for the Sebenzas after they've run out of regular washers. From what I've heard, they've only got small sebenza washers left to go.
I have one knife with perforated washers and, in case anyone is wondering what they look like, I took a quick picture of them when I had it disassembled.
Shown with a pivot bushing (these sizes are for a large Sebenza)
