My oldest daughter is to have their first child come May 27th, she hopes that she isn't too late as then it might have a birthdate of 06-06-06 :eek:

Congratulations to the both of you as you are about to expand your family. I have two daughters and actually just gave away my oldest daughter in marriage this past Spring, June 25th to be exact. It was one of the proudest moments of my life.

Hey Congrats! I never thought I would like kids but after being conviced to have one all I can say is that they are great and a blessing.

Mnandi sounds like a wonderful name for a little girl. :D

At long last, our daughter arrived by c-section at 11:54 pm on Friday, Jan. 20th. She is perfectly healthy and was alert on arrival, perhaps due to coming out a few days later than predicted. Mother and child are now home and happy to be there, and I am the most lucky fellow.

You and I have never talked, but I've read hundreds (perhaps thousands) of your posts. I know you're a great guy, though perhaps not the (ahem) youngest new father around.

My son, who's now 15, was born when I was 42, so let me give you this advice: fasten your seat belt, cinch it down tight, and enjoy the best ride of your life! There's nothing like being a Dad!

Congratulations! There's nothing as great as having a daughter. Enjoy every minute with her, they grow quick. My daughter's 11 now and we go on daddy daughter dates every other Friday. Some of the best times in my life have been spent with her. I think God gives us little girls to remind us of how wonderful life is.:D
 
You have a gift from God. Please take her on walks in the woods and camping and fishing and clearing trails with CR knives. Also, teach her how to shoot, and defend her self. I found with my daughter, it is also OK to say no, and sometimes switches come in handy,haha.:p
