New sheath for my personal Bush Adder

Here is one more Bush Adder I finished up today. Same specs as the others, just wrapped in a nice set of pine cone scales, red/opaque/red g10 liners. $270 shipped CONUS on this one with the sheath pictured. Enjoy!

Last two available Bush Adders for at least a couple weeks. Stabilized figured cherry $235 and burlap micarta $220. Basic leather sheath included along with free shipping CONUS. Enjoy!

Meh... besides the straight hand stitching, the well done inlay, and creative design... what does that sheath have going for it?!?! ;)

The pair looks great man. Well played.

Thank you. I have found that this "pancake" style is the best style sheath for EDC. Sucks tight to the body for a slim profile, base of the sheath not bouncing around like traditional styles. I never know it is there, sitting, standing, or whatever. Have any suggestions?

I think they look great. A great looking sheath. Looks like it would ride up tight to the body, and not show under clothing. Scott

I don't think you are using a stitch groover. I would try a stitch groover and some slimmer thread. I think you are using fairly large sinew right now. I would use about 0.8 mm thread (a John James 04 harness needle will be fine) and a 7 tpi thread count would make this look a little more appropriate. I would use a free hand groover and a adjustable groover around the borders.

This is purely aesthetics though.

Also, work on your ability to finish your edges- that is an ongoing process for all of us I think. ;)

Please see these as just constructive suggestions - not a critique.
