Yangdu asked me to post some pics from the new shop's opening ceremonies. She'll be along in a little bit to explain who everyone is, but for now here are the photos.

HIP HIP HURRAY!!!! IT'S HI'S DAY---(Finally)

I hope you will be as excited as I am !!!! I have received and am posting pictures of the new HI Shop.
The Shop officially opened June the 19th with opening ceremonies.
This picture is of Father, friend Sgt.Khadka and No.1 Master Kami Bura holding a presentation knife Kothimoda. Doesn't he look great??? Father shall still have the final word in all business transactions at the Shop after consultation with me.
We are all looking forward to a productive relationship with new exciting designs and regular on-time shipments to serve you as you so well deserve after your many weeks of loyalty and patience.

That's Bura...he cleans up mighty fine in his Sunday best! Nice looking shop...better lighting than the old one.

Excellent, the shop looks bright, the future looks bright. Nice seeing an updated picture of Bura.
 
I wonder if the scabbards are now being made in the new shop as it looks like a smaller, separate, and cleaner room where the two young fellows are carving wood. Nice looking shop that appears a lot lighter inside. I hope between the new shop and maybe some more good kamis, and hopefully steady kamis, that production will increase and shipments resumed.:thumbup: :cool: :D
 
Wow very nice, I enjoyed that very much. It would be nice to connect names to the faces. :-)
 
I'll add names to the pictures as I get them, but at least we know what Bura's EDC is.:D
 
Great pics. Bura looks very distinguished - not everyone can wear a kothi and sash and look comfortable doing it!:cool: Hopefully a lot of those patterns hanging on the wall in pics 15 and 19 will become shiny steel inside triangular boxes headed out of Reno in the near future:thumbup: .
