New Shop Opening Ceremonies - Many Pix

cool. i like how here it's a new 'shop.' not a new factory, new facility, new location, or any of that market junk. it's a shop with more flesh than machines. HI rocks.

I recognize a few -- Bura and Khadka of course, and was that Pala up there as well?

It's good to see the faces behind the products. Many thanks for the pictures.

Excellent. Thanks for posting these, Ted. Blessings for a bright future for the new shop, the Kamis and their families, Yangdu and HI.

I really like the photo of Bura and Sgt. Khadka. Just think of what those hearts and hands have created over the years. I can't wait to see the blades that come out of the new shop. (Better start saving my pennies. :))

It is nice to put faces with names.

I really like that door behind Bura in the first group of pictures.

What a great post for a great day. One of the reasons I feel good buying HI khuks is because I know I'm helping the good people at the shop.

Wow. it's great to see everybody. Healthy and happy...awesome.

I too love the doors. Quite a bit of skill there.

Did you guys see they have electricity in this shop...( I can't remember if they had it in the last shop or not...seems to me they didn't)...a Drill and a grinder in the background.

I like how the youngsters are wearing the colorful tee-shirts. "new York" and zombie Simpsons? LOL

It's wonderful to see pics. It helps make the connection between the wonderful tools we get to buy and the artists who make them. Thank You.

That is the Sopranos (Simpranos) take-off Simpsons t-shirt. I have a couple of those.

Eric.

Bura looks mighty stern!

I had never seen Sgt. Khadka until now. Cool to put a face on the maker of my most used khuk!

the electric hair dryer forges seem to be working great but how one heats charcoal has little to do with final results.
