Here are my latest additions to my shop. First up is a Hardness Tester. Now I know the hardness of everything I do. Next up is a Bader B-III with variable speed, flat platen, & Double Billy Roll small wheel attachment. I'm gonna love that Var. speed after all these years of using my ole Griz sitting next to it. I mounted them on dollies to make them easy to move but stable when being used. I like to grind outside when I can because it keeps dust out of the shop and I prefer the natural light for grinding. The last pic is a close-up of the small wheel attachment. I chose it instead of a regular fork because it looked like it would allow for a tighter radius and I also like the wheel being in this position better than a regular fork.

Dang Darrin! Next thing you know, we're going to have to start taking you seriously.....naaa, just your work and HT services...:D

Those are both going to serve you really well I expect.

I've wondered about steel dollies modded out as "tallboy" gear carts. Nice to see it's actually being done.

Congratulations and enjoy!!

Best to you,
Andy

Nice Darrin.
I'm sure you enjoy the new tools. Finger prints on the tester?
Really like the carts too.

Did you find a winning lottery ticket? Congrats on the new machinery.

Darrin when I added those 2 items (not at the same time though) I've never looked back.
It is way cool knowing the hardness of whatever you're doing. You're going to have fun!
Congrats. Ken.

Darrin,

Those are some really nice additions to your shop. I have never seen a small wheel adapter like that it looks super handy.

I ordered it from Grizzly and it was exactly $1004 delivered. I try to help people when I can so I would consider testing blades for you from time to time.

Good for you Darrin. Now the fun begins. Congrats.
