I have always wanted a double barrel shotgun. I've had break actions and pumps forever but on Sat I saw a "special purchase" at Dick's and I just couldn't pass it up. I took it out today to play for a bit after work. I wasn't really hunting but I did have one squirrel allow me to get close (much to his dismay) while I was looking for fatwood.

I also saw this little guy but he was to cute to blow to smithereens. I'm just kidding. He was about 6 feet away and hung out with me for a few minutes while I ate some pepperjack cheese on the log. I tried to give him some but he wouldn't come out from under the log.

Looks like a factory second, they put the barrels on top of one another, rather than side by side. Nice buy !!!

Its a Stoeger. Thats the newer model that replaced their condor line of over/unders.
 
Sweet shotgun, good looking squirrel, and great photo of the live one. You remind me of me...shooting with a gun one minute and a camera the next. Though I must say I enjoy the camera shooting much more, the photos are not very tasty and likely not very filling. Thanks to this recession the animals in my neck of the woods are getting a visit from the "old me"....ya know...I realized that I sort of missed me too.
 
I don't know about that, the photos are plenty filling, just not to the stomach. Oh wait, thats what you meant. Don't mind me, to much coffee, to little sleep.
