New size avatars are cool!!!!

Reminds me of a description from a book I read years ago, "the look of eagles".

Playing around with them right now. Dont know if I like this current one or not...

Eich1911 that is an exquisite photograph!!!!!!!!:cool: Looks like a top-notch advertising photo--on par with the best of the knife mag photos IMO:) That closeup makes a great avatar too!!:D

Everyone is entitled to an Avatar. Just go to your "Profile" button, then top bar "Options". Near the bottom you will see an Avatar option. All you have to do is upload a JPEG file from your PC that is no larger than 120x120 pixels.

You also have to make sure that you don't exceed 10k in size even if you're image falls within the 120x120 range. This can be tricky if you are going from a photograph of higher res. I go into photoshop and play around with image size then "save for the web" command usually gives me an image size I can use.

Ron, that phrase struck me as appropriate too. I think it was David Gemmell's book Legend which describes "...the look of eagles of a man born to be a warrior..."

Me, I gotta hunt round for an old pic that wont cause your monitors to burn out... :D

Would you like a new avatar - custom designed? I'd be happy to do it. Just do a search on the forums if you want to see the other avatars that I've done.

Yours can be animated or a static image like this one that I resized for Jerry Shipman:
