New skin for my 0550

Yeah Don's scales are the best around. I've tried some others but the fit and finish wasn't quite as perfect as the ones I received from Don. Almost as nice as the man himself but I'm not sure that is even possible.

These look awesome!

Man, I knew I shouldn't have opened this thread...

Very nice knives/scales folks.

They are all great to begin with but what a transformation. The 0350 looks amazing.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Just confirming that yes, the Cryo and the 350 are both still assisted. I like the look of these and with the jimping already present on the knives I don't mind the slick feel of the sides (my pocket doesn't mind either).

Scale looks awesome... I just bought a 551 on the boards, but I can't get the pivot screw off. Afraid to mess it up so I can't swap it out :S

Just make sure you are using the correct size torx and go for it. If it has never been adjusted the locktite can be a bit tough to break loose. I've had some that "popped" when they finally turned.

Heat it up real good with a hair dryer, or heat gun. I always heat up all knives before the first dissasembly.
