The ammo is $ 1.50 per pound, plus UPS at $ 20.00 – total $ 57.50.
(from 2012)

I purchased 25 lbs of 3/8 which is a lifetime supply last year. Not sure if the price is still the same. Give Marty a call.
I also have a Pocket Predator "Hathcock" ss. (I currently use the Chinese black tubing. It last forever and shoots well) It's my current favorite. I have found that draping a heavy blanket loosely is the best catcher to use. If you hang it and anchor the bottom the ammo bounces instead of dropping straight down.

I bought my youngest daughter (12 at the time) her first slingshot last year..It was the first day of summer and we went to the big box store..I picked up two Daisy models with the wrist brace..Then we headed to a little creek thats close to the house..She caught on right away and we were both hitting floating leaves, sticks and anything else around the water..We each had a plastic bag tied to our belts and I taught her to look for the most round creek stones..After that we went out two or three times a month during the rest of the summer...

I have mine packed away in my kayak / camping gear for this years trips..I like that marble idea..CD

Took out my Biker Mike SS and Hathcock SS on an excursion this afternoon.
Here's an example of the "field " targets I have set up along the trails in the woods. The material hangs loose so if it gets hit the ammo drops straight down.

Wife and I took the slingshots to a local creek today to shoot around a bit. We had a lot of fun. Was a beautiful day out:

The wife and I went out again today. I sure did improve my aim with just a few hours of practice.

Nice to see the WBG getting some use. Could be time for some stronger tubes like 1745?

Hey man, good to see you here. I kinda like the tubes on there. Fun plinking around with it. In all honesty though, it's been awhile since I got the ss's out.

I have the scout with double theraband gold on them, just got the new clip attachment method from them a month back as well. I have to say, slingshots and bows are not the easy as I thought they would be to get proficient in them. I say that I'm about 60% accurate with them.
