New Slipjoint Maker

Greetings and welcome to BF and the "Traditional" forum.
I wish all the luck in the world in your new career and I have no doubt you will find many enthusiasts and buyers here for your outstanding work.

Best wishes:)

I, too, had an opportunity to handle some of Enriques knives at the Vegas show this last January. If you like Bill's knives (who doesn't?) you will most definitely notice his influence. Enriques' is very nice work!

Here is another picture of my knives and thanks for all the great comments and good wishes on my new carrer. I will try to show a picture of a thoothpick that I just finished this week and might put up for sale.

Really great looking knives. Your jigged bone, do you dye and do the jigging yourself? Really pretty colors.

Those are very nice knives, Enrique. If you put them up for sale (in the "Makers" section here), I would predict that you will get a favorable reception.

Your work appears to be of fine quality. I am envious, as well as happy for you. May God bless your business, for He has blessed your hands.

Very nice looking knives! You have some great mentors! Good luck to you.

Welcome Enrique! Good to see another South Texas Knifemaker here on the forums. Very very nice work you do.

I only get on the computer when I have a chance so that is why I have not ansewrd all of the questions I got durring the day but the type of steel I use is cpm 154 for blades and springs and I have heard there is not much of it available any more but lucklly I still have some and for my linners and bolsters I use 416 stainless steel. I do jig some of my bone but I do not dye it. What I do is I buy smooth dyed bone and then jig it my self. I got a call from my friend a while ago and told me he will have a picture of my knife tonight and I will put it up for sale to see how that goes for me.

I any of you would like to give a call to my cell to ask me any questions about an order or a question just give me a call at 956 771 7749.I do not mind and thanks for all the coments.

GREAT looking knives Enrique. I think you will have much success selling your knives if they are as nice as they look in the pictures.
