What are these slippies you're referring to? I've never heard of those. Are you talking about slip joints? :p

I'm just giving you a hard time. But serisously...it's slip joint. :D

Nice knives you got there....I really like the Case.

Really nice old Case.

Actually that is either a 1971 or 1970... I can't count the dots with any degree of certainty. But they used that dot system from 1970 to 1979. Very nice example of the medium stockman. I have a 10 dot one of that myself and it holds a special place in my collection.

I agree with Will, shes a 1971 according to these old eye's! A beauty none the less and wouldn't it be interesting if she could tell us what shes seen over the years:)
I love well worn vintage pocket knives:thumbup:

Haha when I got this blade is was packed full of junk, after spending a few hours cleaning it I just cant put er down :o the petina on it is amazing IMO

Not a mistake. Some people say slippies. Others cringe when it is said. I'm a cringer and prefer the term slip joint. All good. Nice knives! :)

Great decision! I like that Camillus very much! A great pair for a start.

Kind regards
Andi

Kinda like I don't call my drawers my undies.

"Panties"? :-p

I didn't even know that what I generally considered "knives," "pocket knives," and/or "jackknives" were technically "slip joints" until I started reading here.

(And, to the OP-- I wasn't further ragging on your use of "slippies" as much as having fun with Morrow's "serisously." Easily amused, I suppose.)
