Is there any news from the 2010 Blade show on successful applicants for JourneySmith/Mastersmith ratings?

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to purchase Michael Rader's test dagger. He did an innovative fluted handle using tight curl acrylic infused koa from my shop...first dagger ever submitted for testing with his handle design. Every mm of this dagger is a master piece!! I'd post a pic, but would not do it justice. There'll be photos in Blade mag and the ABS news for sure.

Hi Guys. Sorry it took so long. I've been kinda chillin' here lately. Here are my knives and the dagger is the one I received the BR Hughes award for.

Michael

I cannot see either of those photos either.

It seems that the CKCA site has the same restrictions.

Maybe if you posted those pics on your website and linked them from there , there would be no problems.

Here's the text from Ed's post, linked above:

Congratulations to all our new JS and MS!!

I have to give a special congratulation to Michael Rader. If anyone did not get the chance to see his MS dagger, you really need to take a look at it. I always tell those who are seeking to test for their JS or MS to build knives that are "super simple, and super clean". Micheal's dagger is the embodiment of that idea! The construction is not overly complicated, and Micheal executed that piece to the Nth degree!

Anyone seeking to test could learn a lot from that particular piece.

Hi guys. Sorry, I'm quite a newby with regards to posting pics. They look fine on my browser, so I don't quite know the issue. I am having my web-guy upload my test set to my website in a few days and I'll try it again.

Definitely congratulations to all who passed. I was able to see Michael's dagger up close and it is something else. Bill Buxton also had some really nice pieces. Actually Stephan, Tad did not get his JS, he is not able to go until next year. I am sure that he will not have a problem. Congratulations again.
