New- Sog Seal Pup Elite?

I own the original SOG seal pup and love it. As the seal pup elite has Aus-8 instead of Aus-6 and its has the rasped spine and a longer cutting edge i can only see it being better than the Original seal pup. I like the way the cutting edge of the Elite looks because it is longer than the original pup. I always thought that the cutting edge part of the blade on the original pup should have been a little longer instead of leaving like an inch between the handle and start of the sharpened area.
