new SOG strobe flashlight

Any word when these will become available through dealers?

Anyone have or used one yet?
They look like quality flashlights, very similar to the Surefire E2D

I really would like to handle the strobe in person as well. I have a Surefire E2D LED and its great. I'd like to see how the 2 compare.

Im new to knives but Ive been a flashlight guy for 5 years or so.

I don't think it will be as tough as their knives. It wont be close to a surefire.

If its a Nuwai, then it will be good. Nuwai does the sportsman extreme lights for Rayovac and the TL 2AA series lights for TerraLux and they make quality lights. I beat the heck out of a Rayovac 3W Nuwai over the last two years and its still going strong. It had an older Luxeon emitter I upgraded to a SSC P4 just for more brightness, but if the SOG uses a Rebel it won't be too bad, though they might have wanted to go with a slightly more advanced emitter. Leatherman has gone down the same road using Fenix for their supplier, and those are nice lights as well that offer some differences over their Fenix counterparts.
