I just got a new C113CF This thing ROCKS!! No play, solid lock, smooth as the patch I shaved from my arm;)

It's one of my favorites, too. The zdp really holds up, and the wire clip is the best of any of my knive's clips.

The CF ZDP Cali is one of the finest Spydercos available IMO

Congrats on your new acquisition. I've been thinking of ordering one of these myself. A question for those of you who own one - Are the CF scales slippery? I don't expect them to be as grippy as my Delica4, but I wouldn't want it to be a slippery as a stainless steel handled knife.

The scales are not as grippy as G10, but they are not slippery. They feel more like micarta. I haven't had a chance to handle my CF wet, but I expect i is not as slick as a SS handle.

Congrats spikedog.
Caly3 IMHO is the one of the best production EDCs on the market. I EDC mine for two years and love it.
I wish Spyderco would make more G10 (orange, please) and micarta colors. Micarta with bolsters would be great (Kopa on steroids, but tip up and wire clip.)

I have one as my EDC and i love it so much I put my Lambert whar custom up for sale.
The fit and finish is not quite as good as the Lambert but damn good for a production knife and I sure don't cringe when I use it as much.

I did not know they were currently available though ,I thought they were numbered and limited? mine says 117V. If they made it to a regular item I may have to get one as a spare.

They were always regular production, but limited (per month due to manufacturer limits). You may aready know that each and every Spyderco model exists numbered since 200 of them go into the collector's club (the V stands for variant and means that this particular model originally appeared slightly different, i.e. with a different grind (SE, PE) or with an other color/handle material/steel).
