New Spyderco Knife

Where'd you get this? It's the same Blade show prototypes I shared. With flush screws. The Spyderco release pics on Instagram are not flush screws.
Screen grab around 5:00 in.

Uh oh. When Eric begins talking about the lil Natives he says the compression lock model will have a lanyard hole. The Instagram pics don't have a lanyard hole. Hmmm

Sage 5 July 2016. Although I see the compression lock Chaparral in its lines.
So the Chaparral may have been moved to Golden because of the compression lock. The compression lock is Eric's baby.

Where are you hearing about a compression lock Chaparral?

I've not heard of this...

There's jimping on the Sage 5 blade as well, where the thumb ramp(thumb incline?) is.

Plus there's no such thing as a G10 Sage 5. Only carbon fiber.
sage 5 uses carbon fiber g10 laminate...thin layer of carbon fiber on top of g10... sage 5 doesn't use solid carbon fiber if it did it would cost more

The Sage is released with different lock types. They've yet to release a "mini" Sage even though 1 and 2 were extremely popular. I don't think it's a Sage. A compression lock Sage has already been done.

Looks to be that CL Mini Native to me too.

Only other thing I could think of is maybe they got the Rhino figured out?

And I would hope that's not a Chap -- love the slimness of that knife -- the CL would ruin that.

I have to admit I was a bit bummed to see that this, whatever it's called, is in S30V. I've really taken a shine to Spyderco's use of CTS-XHP on small slicers like the Chaparral so as intriguing as this one is I'll likely wait and hope for a sprint run down the road.

Well that spoils the surprise! Haha. Well whoever went with the baby Native seems to have been right.

Well they did come out and say it on video earlier in the year. I need to sub to BHQ...
