But it also resembles a Skirmish. I just checked their website today and man, oh man, this so needs to be in my pocket! Hollow ground S30v, g10 handles with carbon fiber twill. This is simply rocksome.
What's even more surprising is that it is only offered in Plain edge. I'm so happy I could cry or buy one.

It lloks like a Kershaw because it is a collab between the two companies.

SpyKer, a factory collaboration between Spyderco and Kershaw. This knife is on the cover of the June Blade mag. It doesn't do much for me.

What will they think of next?

Spyderco site doesn't say what the lock is. Can't really tell from the photos. Anybody know?

It's a Walker style locking liner (liner-lock).

It looks like a liner lock to me.
Is anyone else reminded of a skirmish or mini skirmish? Perhaps it's just the holes, but this looks like the mini on an acid trip to me.

I'm not even about to go there. Do a search and you'll find out why. ;)

As I write this I am looking at my newly arruved SpyKer. I must say, I'm really diggin' it! I was hoping the liner would be a bit beefier, but I can live with it. I have put my ACFKs through a lot and the liner locks have held up. The only real down side for me is the freakin' bill board advertisement the put on the blade! I absolutely hate it when companies do that! IT SUCKS! Something a bit more subdued on the flats would be just fine.

Why do I like it? Well, like the Kershaw Bump/ Onion Bump, this design is extremely versatile. You have a blade with a nice point for fine work or penetration. You have an almost straight edge toward the tip ging you a bit of a wharncliffe blade. Then you transition into a very aggressive recurve. The handle is very well thought out. One of the best universal designs I have come across. Pick a grip and it works very well!

Now, if I could just get someone to give me a few thousand dollars, I could get an Onion custom Bump and have them all.

I guess some like it. I don't find it appealing in the least, and especially for the price tag.
