I'd love that Perrin folder if it didn't have that awful clip.![]()
What makes it awful?
First it isn't reversible, second it's way too deep in pocket. I just don't like it at all.
maybe it wont be the same on the production model.
i dont mind it, but i also am not a huge fan of the deep carry clips.
I don't mind some "deep" carry clips like the wire clip on the UKPK or Caly3 but attached to the end of the knife like that just makes me think I'd be fishing it out of my pocket every time I went to use it.
my concern with this particular design are the top protruding screw and the sharp adjacent edges. again, these are not huge problems for me.
i dont see that clip making it to the production model, but sal hasn't hired me yet for the design team.
i would still buy one, even with that clip.
my concern with this particular design are the top protruding screw and the sharp adjacent edges. and it's fit in that space looks fair, at best.
Sorry I didn't get the detail on it.Good news - thank you.
Was there word about the Manix 2 coating - I assume it'd be DLC?
Sorry I didn't get the detail on it.
Great pics of the PPT, Mr blonde
The "all black" refers to screws and not pins- , I suppose, I didn't look closely at it. Their deal is "all black everything" except the ball bearing.
