New Spyderco sharpmaker

I use an Apex Edgepro for profiling my knives if they need it or if they have become significantly dull or chipped. I use the Sharpmaker for keeping them shaving sharp. Excellent tools, both of them.

I also use a leather strop for that final touch but I generally only use it for folding knives.

Same setup here. These two work very well together. The edge pro is amazing for reprofiling blades. Sheer perfection.
It is a little much for upkeep though. The sharpmaker is great at keeping the blades wildly sharp. Quick and easy.

You can always use a DMT double sided Diafold diamond sharpener flat against the sharpmaker's flat side of the sharpening rods if needed. Or just a DMT mini diamond sharpener from Sears. :thumbup:
