Here's what my two youngest daughters gave me for Fathers Day.....

And here is a picture of the gift with the gift givers..

The coolest thing about this knife is the fact that my ten year old daughter picked it out all by herself with no help from anyone, not me or her mother. She told her mom that she wanted to pick out something by herself to give to me this year from her and her little sister and pay for it with her allowance money. My wife said that my daughter asked her to look at the knife that I carry every day and see what brand it was while I was asleep as to not tip me off. Once she found out it was a Spyderco she went to their website and started reading about all of the different knives. Knowing that we spend a lot of time at the lakes/rivers around here and that I am an avid diver she thought that the Salt series knives would be a good choice in the H1 steel and found one in her price range. Guys, I know people get tired of hearing people brag about their kids, but this deal really got me. It may only be an Atlantic Salt, but it means more to me right now than any custom I own! Thanks for reading.

My Dear Friend,

Guys, I know people get tired of hearing people brag about their kids, but this deal really got me. It may only be an Atlantic Salt, but it means more to me right now than any custom I own! Thanks for reading.

Contrary to what most people might think, there are times it really IS the thought that counts. That is a wonderful gift from your little girls; you are a lucky man, my friend!

That's absolutely the COOLEST thing I've read in a long time! Good girls and great parents. They'd have not learned things like that were it not for you and mom. Hats off and a salute to you and your family!

Tolly,
Thanks for sharing such a great story! You are a lucky man (but you already know that) and your girls are beautiful!

Now thats some good kids! It's nice to see kids that are raised correctly now and then. Cool knife by the way! You've got a bright kid.

Excellent story and excellent girls!

You know that knife will always mean more to you than any of the others. Every time you open it you will think of them.

Cute girls!

:p

Sir,

You can be proud of your daughters, they love their Dad!

BTW: a pink Atlantic Salt would be the cherry on the cake :p

Thanks guys. I've also got an older daughter,16, and an older son who is 19(away at college) and they are all just the best kids you could ever ask for. They have made my job as a Dad much easier than some have it.

My wife said that my daughter asked her to look at the knife that I carry every day and see what brand it was while I was asleep as to not tip me off.

That's the part I like the best. Sneaking around and finding out what knife you already carry. Pretty funny.
