New Starbenza

Received my new Starbenza today. It is a lefty and has a birthdate of Jan. 2013.Thats some old stock!! Has the small Idaho stamp and the 58-59 blade in the old box. Did the older ones not come with the small tube of lube?

Ones in the old-style box (no inserts) did not come with lube in the box.

Evidently the LH Wilson Starbenza's don't fly off the shelf , but at least they do have the lefty's in stock. Mine was two years on the shelf.
My WC 25 and Umnumzaan had newer dates.

Evidently they don't !! I was a little concerned at first with the older heat treat and such but it is perfectly centered and no other issues. I would rather it be old heat treat and perfect than newer and be uncentered or something. No big deal to me.
