New Stiletto Haft

Got my Grandfathers dbl-bit Stiletto Axe hung today. I was going to order a House Handle Octagonal haft but ended up using a dbl-bit haft I had. Still need to do a bit of work on the edges.

Looks great! A used handle just looks better on an old axe.

I love Stiletto axes. Kind of an unsung hero, IMO.

I really dig that old handle on it too. It suits it well for sure.

I'm with pegs, those older handles are just beautiful, unfortunately most of us don't have a stash of them.
I did however pick up a DB 4lb Legitimus a couple of weeks ago that came with a unhung NOS Tecumseh Sasquatch brand handle made in Tennessee.
It's pretty sweet
